Aubrey Meiling is a Chinese adoptee from St. Petersburg, Florida. She grew up surrounded by the arts. Throughout elementary, middle, and high school, Aubrey has participated in the dramatic arts, working on productions at her school and with St. Pete Opera. Over the years, her main focus turned to filmmaking. In her final years of high school, she completed two short films. Aubrey is currently working on her BA, studying film and creative writing, at the University Of Central Florida. In addition to being a college student, Aubrey is also a staff writer for Dear Asian Youth.
